What is New Sprite Day?
It’s a recurring event: every Thursday a new Sprite or special variant arrives on the island. The best part is that they stay for the rest of the season, so there’s no rush — you can find and collect them whenever you want, though the sooner you hunt them down, the sooner you get to use their power.
Galaxy Sprites: 20% more ammo
The Galaxy Sprites are a special variant that, on top of their Sprite’s own power, grant you 20% more ammo when looting. It’s a huge edge in long matches and drawn-out fights, where running dry usually costs you the round.

How to get the Galaxy Sprites
To add a Sprite to your collection you have to find it in a match and extract it. There are two ways:
- Extraction Sites: there are 17 spread across the map. They look like a white icon with a beam of light shooting up to the sky. Get there, hold the position and complete the extraction.
- Portable Extractor: lets you extract your equipped Sprite from anywhere. You get 1 per day (resets at 9:00 AM ET) for 2,000 Sprite Dust at the terminals next to the Extraction Sites.
- Equip it first: bring your Sprite equipped when you drop in to use its power right away.

Beyond the Galaxy bonus, every Sprite brings its own ability: shield regen, temporary invisibility, extra burst damage and more. Special Sprites can turn a match around, so build your collection and pick the one that fits your style.
