Gold Sprites are the chase items of Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3: golden versions of the Sprites you already know, with their same ability plus a perk aggressive players love — bonus XP on every elimination. There are 10 (all but the Burnt Peanut) and they drop at brutally low odds. Here is where to look, the drop rates and how to farm them.

What do Gold Sprites do?
A Gold carries the exact same power as its standard version and layers bonus XP on eliminations. It stacks with a Victory Crown, pushing a single kill past 1,600 XP; string a few together and you pull in roughly 5,000 to 10,000 XP per match, moving the Runners Battle Pass much faster. That makes Golds best for aggressive players — if you play passively, the gold finish is more a collection flex than real XP.

How to farm them step by step
Land where the one you want spawns
Forest for Gold Earth, coast for Gold Water, city for Gold Fire. They drop from regular chests, so open every one you can.
Prioritize Sprite Chests for the rare ones
Gold Demon, King, Punk and Zero Point come from Sprite Chests. Route between them instead of only grabbing floor loot.
Right time and place
Gold Ghost only at night, Gold Duck near the vaults at Sinister Strip and Frosted Flats, Gold Dream asleep inside storage crates.
Take it to an extraction point
A wild Gold rides in your Back Bling and drops if you are eliminated. Carry it to an extraction point and survive the timer to bank it.
Which should you farm first?
With these odds, grinding the whole set solo is a long shot (especially the Zero Point, 1 in 11,067). The most realistic targets at launch are the three Rares — Fire, Earth and Water — at 0.12%: they deliver the exact same XP bonus as the higher rarities, so start there. To complete the set, trading with other players is the fast lane.
