What is the Design A Sprite contest?
It’s the return of Fortnite’s “masterpiece” concept: Epic is letting you design a Sprite (those collectibles scattered around the map) and, if it wins, they actually add it to the game. They’re after three original community designs. It’s not a raffle: they pick based on the idea and how well the design is executed.
How to enter step by step
Design your Sprite
Make an original design (your own, no copying skins, brands or other characters). Think of a theme or element that doesn’t exist among the Sprites yet.
Share it with #DesignASprite
Post it on X, Instagram or TikTok with the hashtag #DesignASprite. You can also post it on Reddit (r/FortniteBR) with the “Design A Sprite” flair.
Up to 2 designs
You can submit up to two original designs. Send your best ideas, don’t pad it out.
Epic reviews everything
The Fortnite team reviews all submissions and picks three winning designs.
Your Sprite + $2,500
The three winners see their design turned into a Sprite inside Fortnite and receive a $2,500 cash prize each.

Sprites already in Fortnite
For inspiration, here are some of the Sprites already roaming the island. The goal is for yours to feel part of the same family, but with a fresh twist:
Gooey and light-blue with its shiny droplet. The classic “cute” Sprite tone.
Orange, with a flame on its head and a frown. Same mold, different attitude.
Wood and moss with glowing eyes. Shows how much the design changes with the material.
